Starting next fall those who frequent the coffee house have something interesting, exciting and environmentally friendly to look forward to. The Nebraska Wesleyan University coffee house has decided to “go green” by introducing edible cups (including lids, straws, etc) and even edible forks, spoons and knives.
Thanks to an amazing scientific breakthrough, the Monsanto Corporation is proud to present an entire line of edible eating utensils, plates, bowls and cups. By creating edible supplies users are able to save the water needed to wash real dishes, and will also encourage those dining to cut back on food consumption.
These new supplies are available in a meatier/saltier flavor (for supper) or hard candy (for dessert). The hard candy supplies are exactly like the dipping sticks found in Fun Dip. The meatier/saltier cups, utensils, etc. are also made of the hard candy substance but instead of being sweetened they are infused with bullion and other meaty flavors.
If the new supplies are a success the university plans to switch out the entire kitchen with the “greener,” edible Monsanto creations.
